I discovered this awesome photo website...photo funia.

I was bored on this rainy weekend so I was playing around with different pictures.

 

 

I should be cleaning & doing laundry but instead I'm playing on the computer.. 

 

I went to another crop last night & got to hang out with some of my favorite girls!! I never get much scrapping done but I had a lot of fun. One layout I finished was with a picture from 1983 when I was 4, it is me, my mom & granny who just turned 89 on March 12th.

 

 

I love the Prima lollipop flowers!!

 

I'm going to see "a haunting in connecticut" tonight with my friend Brandey. She is 27 and was just diagnosed with Thyroid cancer last month, she has to have a radioactive iodine treatment in a few weeks, she won't be able to be around people much after her treatment and she will have to stay home for several days after the treatment. She is a great friend & has always been there for me, I hate to see her go through this but she is really strong and we are all praying that this treatment will get rid of all traces of cancer in her body. It makes you really think about how fragile life is.

I actually got a chance to scrap today..I got to go to my favorite local scrapbook store and hang out with the lovely girls there. I finished 1 layout and got started on another & it only took me 5 and 1/2 hours!!

 

I love this picture even though it's crappy quality because I took it with my phone.

& I worked on a digital layout of Grace from valentine's day..

 

I used the polka dot paper from the kitschy digitals matilda kit, I changed the colors to go with the theme and I also used the woodgrain paper from the olivia kit & the frame is from the new thrift store chic frame kit.

where in the world have i been???

I honestly didn't mean to abandon my blog, life just got crazy for awhile.

I have a few digital pages to share..

 

this is a picture I took of Grace on christmas eve. The gorgeous yarn flowers are Kitschy Digitals, you can find them here. 

    

and this pic is from our first snow of the season, which we didn't get until March 1st, we enjoyed it and our snow day home from school & work. For the background I used the Kitschy digitals houndstooth paper from the Olivia kit, it is my favorite digital paper.

I didn't mean to take such a long break, I miss reading all my favorite blogs and seeing what everyone is up to. I haven't been scrapping much lately but there is an awesome new kitschy digitals kit coming out soon that I've made a few layouts for, I'll share them soon. Here is one layout I did recently with some free kits I found on scrapping with ikeagoddess, I love her site, she makes it so easy to find the latest digital scrapbooking freebies.

I hope everyone is having a great christmas.

All our presents are open & Grace went to her dad's house for a little bit so it's kind of depressing around here.Hopefully she'll be back soon & we can play with her toys. Here is a quick layout I made of a her sleeping last night, she was so excited she didn't go to sleep until 11:00!!

hello lovelies..

I hope everyone is having a great holiday season.

 I have been busy finishing up my shopping and running around to lots of christmas festivites.

Friday was Grace's last day of school until the new year, she had a christmas program and her class had a little holiday party. The christmas program was at a church 2 blocks from the school, I was one of the chaperones that walked with her class to the church. Those kids crack me up they had to stop and look at every leaf and bump in the sidewalk on the way there. I can honestly say that being around some of those kids really made me thankful for how good Grace is.

 

I have 2 new kitschy digitals layouts to share.

   

I used the Kitschy Digitals - olivia kit. & thrift store buttons. I love the houndstooth paper in the olivia kit, you can change the colors & use it for some many layouts. I also used the pink flower in the kit & turned it black.

 

This one was for the newest sketch at Rough Draft. We have an awesome guest designer so go over there & check it out.

 I used the skyler kit & olivia kit.

just a small example of my insanity. I was walking down the hall at work this morning & I noticed that my left shoe felt strange so I looked down to check if there was something wrong & this is what I saw....

 

I really need to start paying attention when I get dressed in the morning, I am always so focused on getting Grace ready & out the door I run around in a rush geting myself ready, I don't even sit down to put on my shoes I just slide them on and go. at least they were both white. and the right one is festive.....

 

and I wanted to share 2 little dollies I made with a pattern from Elsie's class.

I was going to wait & put these in Grace's stocking but I thought they were so cute I went ahead & let her have them. These were so easy to make & didn't take to long at all.

I had grand plans to design our cards this year, but my computer dying ruined that plan. Luckily I found this chic card template at two peas by: Cherie Mask.

I am so stinking excited my new computer came today, and it is like upgrading from a pinto to a Cadillac. It's my christmas gift to myself this year!!

I wanted to share my most recent layout using the lovely feather accents kit from kitschy digitals.

 

I hope the colors on this layout look ok, I'm having a hard time getting used to the different screen on this computer, everything seems brighter.

I have lots more to share I'll be back soon.
